Casey Cusick

ASSOCIATE Pastor

My name is Casey Cusick, and I oversee the operations and ministries of goChurch. At the age of twenty years old, I spent three years in Israel. I was blessed to be engulfed in Israeli culture and learn Hebrew during that time. It was an awesome experience that allowed me to gain a greater knowledge of the Bible. Three years later and a year before my mom passed away, I had an encounter with God. Jesus became real to me for the first time in my life! But it wasn't until the day my mom had gone to be with Jesus, that I had a strong knowing inside that God was calling me to the ministry. So, in July of 2012,  I moved to Tulsa, OK. to attend Rhema Bible Training College, where I am now a graduate. Class of 2014. During my time at Rhema, I met my beautiful wife Ruth Sanchez.

Foundation

  1. The Bible is the mind of Christ, and is the inspired, the only infallible and authoritative Word of God.
  2. There is one God manifested in three personalities, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  3. The reality of Satan and his present control over unregenerate man does exist.

The Basics of Christianity

  1. The deity of our Lord Jesus Christ.
  2. His sinless life
  3. His miracles
  4. His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood.
  5. HIs bodily resurrection
  6. HIs ascension to the right hand of the Father
  7. His personal return in power and glory as Lord of lords and King of kings.
  8. The fall of man and his lost estate, which makes necessary a rebirth through confession and belief in the Lord Jesus Christ.
  9. The reconciliation of man to God by the substitutionary death and shed blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
  10. The resurrection of believers unto everlasting life and blessing in Heaven, and the resurrection of unbelievers unto everlasting punishment of Hell.
  11. The present supernatural ministry of the Holy Spirit, who bestows the spiritual gifts of: The Word of Wisdom; The Word of Knowledge; Faith: Gifts of Healing; Working of Miracles; Prophecy; Discerning of Spirits; Various Kinds of Tongues; and The Interpretation of Tongues; in and among believers on the earth since the day of Pentecost and continuing until our Lord’s return.

Baptism in the Holy Ghost

The Baptism in the Holy Ghost and fire is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to all believers in this dispensation and is received subsequent to the new birth. This experience is accompanied by the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit Himself gives utterance (Matthew 3:11, John 14:16-17, Acts 1:8; 2:4; 2:38-39; 19:1-7).

Hell & Eternal Retribution

The one who physically dies in his sins without Christ is hopelessly and eternally lost in the Lake of Fire, and therefore, has no further opportunity of hearing the Gospel or repenting. The Lake of Fire is literal. The terms "eternal" and "everlasting" used in describing the duration of the punishment of the damned in the Lake of Fire carry the same thought and meaning of endless existence as used in denoting the duration of joy and ecstasy of saints in the presence of God (Hebrews 9:27, Revelation 19:20).
